Why didn't I think of that?

These jaw-droppingly amazing works are by English textile designer Helen Amy Murray. A prodigious talent at only 28, her secret technique is a combination of applique and quilting, so special that she's in the process of applying for a Patent. So would I!

Working with leather, silk and felt, everything is handmade, completely bespoke. Many designs are by the metre, to be used in upholstery as pictured in these divine chairs.

It's not often I see people working with leather, and in such a creative way. Brava Miss Murray!
