I finished these sandals yesterday, and am so looking forward to wearing them this summer. Red foil finish kid leather, 1960's Australian stamps of the Queen in 3/4 profile, cute pinked edges, navy blue waxed leather sole.My only unfinished detail is what to call them, and that's where I'm taking suggestions. I've been referring to them as QEII or HRH, but I'd be keen to hear what you think.

I've been watching this again, such a great movie, and Rita Moreno as Anita is astoundingly good. Hope that you're singing this song all day, like I have been for most of the week!

how gorgeous! I really like the little details, especially the stamp on the sole. They make me think of old bond movies and the riviera at the same time(in a good way I assure you). I suggest Her Majesty's Secret Service. Though it is maybe too long for a name. Maybe Majesty's secret would do too. stamps+letters+royalty=secrets?

The stamps make me think of "Par Avion". Perhaps the "Avion" sandal, also because they look to be light as air. Send any royalties to my address. They are gorgeous, BTW.
Mr Overton the royalties (pun?) will hopefully flow in abundance to you, 'Par Avion' it is. I am obviously a stamp nerd, and I like this name because it doesn't have to be Queen stamps, I have many others that would fit into these straps.
