Making and doing

It's official, Craft Vic have released their program for this fest of making!

Here's a blurb from the website:

'A Month About Making is a festival of public events, workshops, residencies, exhibitions and forums focusing on the practical and conceptual elements of making, inherent in craft and design. Throughout August, A Month About Making will explore current trends in craft and design practice, professional development opportunities for practitioners, contemporary craft and design philosophy and writing, and the place for 'making' within creative and cultural industries.'

Phew, it's going to be jam-packed full of interesting practitioners, and here's where I blow my trumpet, I'm doing a week-long residency there from Aug 26 - 30. Will include more details soon, at the moment I'm meant to be in the studio finishing off my entry for the In the Making exhibition.

For the full program of events, click on the Craft Vic link here, or the Month about Making logo in the sidebar.
