On my bedside table

After reading Game of Thrones recently, nothing else has captivated me in the reading department. Sure I have a few books by my bed, Umberto Eco and Paul Theroux, but I'm so knackered by the end of the day that I'm merely re-reading the same page before falling asleep.

I need something riveting!

So late last week I was blessed via letterbox, my new Issue of Dumbo Feather - hello! - and for my birthday Caitlin Moran-thology, thanks Sam!

Y'all should be reading this by now, it's so inspiring and nutritious in an ideas kind of way. Loads of pieces in this issue referencing the School of Life, Alain deBotton's philosophical learning centre, running events in Collingwood till March.

Oh Caitlin how I love thee! How can she be so funny and poignant at the same time? Mandatory reading.
