This was such a fun process, getting a cypress post and trimming it down into heels. I got to use my new bandsaw, yay, and sniffed a lot of aromatic sawdust. I love the look of the hairy shoe with a raw wooden heel, but they were destined to be covered heels. Sam and I made a silicone mold and cast them in resin with a steel rod through the centre.
